Summary
A neo classical silver gilt ewer to match NT/OST/S/3. The circular base with moulded leaf band and applied floral swag to the ovid body with chased leaf decoration at the base. Repousse corn and husk swag attached to central oval medallion depicting a putto riding a sea horse. Above the medallion is a scrolled band enclosed by two foliate moulded bands, the neck with chased acanthus decoration, the lid with chased foliage, the reeded handle with acanthus decoration.
