Tripod pole screen, mahogany with brass mounts, English, the oval panel with a plain unmoulded wooden frame fixed to the shaft by moveable brass rings, decorated on the front with Chinese silk painted with flowers and foliage on a buff ground, and on the back with a panel of machine-printed wallpaper with a neoclassical design in brown, yellow and blue on a buff ground, the tripod base of plain cabriole form terminating in club feet.
