Summary
Tester Bedstead with an incomplete set of accompanying hangings comprised of four large panels and two small. The bedstead's substructure of oak and pine frame, veneered overall with satinwood and inlay of green stained wood. The pelmet boards of the tester with green and black japanning with some areas gilded. The gilded moulding is surmounted by a central motif of two addorsed, seated amorini, each with a hand on a large classical urn, from which sprouts a stylised anthemion and against which leans a laurel wreath.
