Summary
Sevres ecuelle cover, as part of a set with bowl and stand, ecuelle ronde tournee et plateau ovale, with interlaced handles and berried laurel finial, the stand of oval quatrefoil form, the oval panels painted in colours with Cupids in landscapes surrounded by berried laurel festoons on a bleu de celeste oeil de perdrix ground of pointelle pattern of small regularly spaced circles, each bordered by six or seven dark blue dots, the centre of the stand with an amatory trophy
