Summary
Sevres trembleuse saucer, as part of a set with cover and cup, goblet a lait a la reine et soucoupe enfonce, , of bucket shape with entwined branch handle, the slightly domed cover with carnation finial, with bleu celeste grounds, the larget panels painted in colours with birds in landscapes, the smaller circular and oval panels gilt with chinoiserie on rust-coloured grounds surrounded by floral garlands.

Marks and inscriptions
Interlaced Ls enclosing V for 1774, the decorator's mark an X but the quality of the painting is such that is was possibly decorated slightly later outside the factory.
