One of two of glass bell push plates for the Whistler Room, Mottisfont Abbey. Back-engraved and gilded design in a floral pattern. Designed by Sir Laurence Whistler (1912-2000) and made by Pugh Brothers, London, 1953.
Provenance
Commissioned for the Whistler Room, Mottisfont Abbey by Maud Russell, 1953. Transferred to the National Trust with Mottisfont Abbey Estate under Maud Russell's Memorandum of Understanding, 1957.
