Summary
Punch bowl, hard-paste porcelain, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China. Possibly second-half eighteenth century. Decorated in famille-rose ('pink family') enamels and gilding with four lobed and pointed cartouches containing Western-style urns on the exterior, a serpentine garland around the interior, a geometric band and trellis with vines along the rim and flowers in the centre.
