Summary
19th century bound rectangular walnut box, the interior divided into 4 3" lined compartments for tea. The lid inlaid with brass shield engraved with monogram S W, the interior having ivory plaque inscribed Ross and Co. Manufacturers, 9, 10 and 11 Ellis's Quay Dublin. Fitted with Bramah Lock. Inherited by Leonard Woolf from his father. Returned to Monk's House by Prof and Mrs Quentin Bell 1965
