Summary
Chemico tin with lid, corrosion to tin body and lid. Black paper label stuck to the front body of the tin, front centre 'Chemico' ,in red, 'Antiseptic', in yellow, 'HOUSEHOLD CLEANSER', in white, and 'It's a paste theres no waste', in yellow. To the left vertically in a white oval a red star in the centre surrounded by black text; 'Tested Approved Serial No 3007 GOOD HOUSE KEEPING INSTITUTE LONDON Conducted by GOOD HOUSE KEEPING MAGAZINE'. On the right side in black text on a yellow background; DIRECTIONS, Apply to delicate surfaces with a damp cloth or on a scrubbing brush for scouring purposes. Chemical Household Cleanser speedily removes dirt, stains and grease from cooking stoves, kitchen utensils, baths, palatwork, metals, rubber flooring, & c. Absolutely non-injurious to the most delicate surface. Cleans and sweetens everything in the home, most economical and a pleasure to use. contains no harmful ingredients, there- fore preserves all it cleans. A perfect hand cleanser and skin preservative.'. The base of the tin has a dent to the back and the lid has a semi circular cut out to help removal. There is slight damage to the paper label just above and to the left of 'Chemico'.
