Summary
One of four editions of 'LEVER BROTHERS' MAGAZINE PROGRESS'. A full colour painting of an ocean liner with four sailors in white stood on the shore line. Across the top in white 'LEVER BROTHERS MAGAZINE AUTUMN 1936' beneath which in white outline only 'PROGRESS'. On the back an advertisement for 'LIFEBUOY TOILET SOAP', ' "Good looks are not enough! I'm making sure of personal freshness with Lifebuoy Toilet Soap!" '.... At the bottom of the back page is typed 'PRINTED BY LEVER BROTHERS LIMITED AT THEIR WORKS, PORT SUNLIGHT, ENGLAND. COMMUNICATIONS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE EDITOR, UNILEVER HOUSE, BLACKFRIARS, E.C.4'.
