Caption
Apart from being a very beautiful object, with its inlaid design of a boy and girl dancing on the top and appearing from the front to be a collection of small books, this box has a hidden secret. Stuck to the bottom of the box is a handwritten note explaining how to get into it, using a series of sliding wooden panels to release the key. The box is seen every day by every visitor to the House, but it has very rarely been opened.
Summary
