Summary
Postcard - Askern Church interior. Text printed on the rear of the card in black ink reads, across the top, in the middle 'POST CARD.' Beneath this is a horizontal line and a vertical line which divides the card down the centre. To the left of the vertical line reads 'Inland Correspondence', and to the right, 'Address Only'. In the top right hand corner, printed in small text is the number 78. Along the left hand side of the card the text reads '"Ivanhoe Series" Published by J. Crowther Co, 12, The Crofts, Rotherham.' Pictured is the interior of Askern Church, looking towards the altar. Askern Church, built in 1852, is today an Anglican Church in the open evangelical tradition known as St. Peter's.
