Summary
Postcard - Old Clee Church. Printed on the back in brown ink, across the top in the centre reads 'POST CARD' with the two words separated by a copyright stamp. Beneath this 'THE ADDRESS TO BE WRITTEN ON THIS SIDE'. Beneath this line, in the centre is a small floral pattern detail, and a vertical line that bisects the card. To the left of this line reads 'For Inland Postage Only This space may be used for communication'. In the top right hand corner there is a postage box with the text 'Produced entirely in England' within. Old Clee Church is located in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. The Church is Grade I English Heritage listed and its Saxon tower dates to 1050, while a Latin inscription records the dedication of the church,to 'Saint Trinity and St. Mary the Virgin', by Hugh, Bishop of Lincoln in 1192.
