In the centre top is a coat of arms and 'BOTTLED IN' 'GREAT BRITAIN' to each side, beneath 'BY APPOINTMENT PURVEYORS OF PRESERVED PROVISIONS TO H.M.THE KING'. 'CROSSE&BLACKWELL FRENCH CAPERS IN MALT VINEGAR RETAIL 2'- PRICE INGREDIENTS: 6 Fluid ozs. CAPERS, MALT VINEGAR, SALT CROSSE & BLACKWELL LTD LONDON W.1.' Across the price the label has been punched by a series of holes to form 'H18'.
