Summary
Print, engraving, Vanburgh's Castle known as Bastille House, Greenwich by James Peller Malcolm (Philadelphia 1767 – London 1815). Sir John Vanburgh;'s house designed by him like a medieval cstle which he built in 1717-26 and gave it the name of Bastille as he was imprisoned in the Bastille in 1692 on suspicion of being a spy. It has been converved into flats.
