Print, engraving, St Luke's Church, Charlton Village, London, by James Peller Malcolm (Philadelphia 1767 – London 1815). The church is mentioned before the Doomsday book in 1077. Sir Adam Newton (d.1630) left money in his will for the building of the present brick church. There is a memorial in the church to Edward Wilkinson, who was Master Cook to Elizabeth I and 'Yeoman of the Mouth' to King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn and King Edward VI.
