Print of an engraving, Le Bon Exemple, after Johann Caspar Heilmann (1718 - 1760), engraved by Justus Chevillet (1729 – 1790). Published by La Veuve Chereau, Paris. The original painting is of the artist's sister and according to the V&A Museum the engraving was produced in 1762. Also referred to in literature as La Couturiere (the Seamstress).
