Print of an engraving on paper, Jesus standing beside the bed of Jairus' daughter (after Rembrandt) by Georg Friedrich Schmidt (Schönerlinde 1712 – Berlin 1775), 1707. Translation: Christ goes with Fairo to heal his daughter. Dedicated to Mr.Cesar, Secretary to His Highness, Prince Hendrik of Prussia, brother to the King, and Director of the King’s Bank of Berlin, by his friend Schmidt.
