Summary
Crayon manner engraving in sanguine ink on laid paper pasted on linen. Silenus with the Infant Bacchus, late 18th century. One of a set of five prints after Classical sculptures. After a Roman marble copy of a bronze original by Lysippus or one of his followers, 4th century BC, in the Louvre, Paris. Artist/Engraver unknown.
