Print, copper engraving, A Firelight - A Rest on the Flight into Egypt (after Rembrandt) by Joseph Wood (b.London fl.1720 - London 1763/4). Night scene with the Holy Family seated by a fire under a makeshift shelter at right, shepherds with their animals at left, a boy putting wood on the fire at centre, a building on a hill in background, a pond in foreground. After the 1647 painting by Rembrandt in the National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin (Bredius 576).
