Pen, ink and watercolour on paper, Untitled, showing an urn and two pieces of pottery probably by Sir Richard Colt Hoare, 2nd Baronet (1758-1838), circa 1805, 'This urn was dug out of a Carnedd in the month of/ August 1805 on Cwm Cerwyn the highest summit/ in the Preselen [sic] range of mountains in Pembrokeshire/ by Richard Fenton, Esqr of Fishguard -' in the handwriting of Sir Richard Colt Hoare, 2nd Bt., circa 1805. He was a friend of Sir Richard Colt Hoare, 2nd Bt and in 1804 the two started a journey through Wales to collect information for a book, Historical Tour through Pembrokeshire (London 1811), with illustrations by Sir Richard Colt Hoare, 2nd Bt.
