Summary
One of a set of five mahogany dining chairs, English, circa 1770. Each with pierced interlaced vase splat below an undulating toprail wth foliate carved end points raised on channel-moulded uprights, the drop-in seat standing on square chamfered legs joined by stretchers, each stamped with initials IR.
Provenance
Gifted to the National Trust by the Rev. W.H. Stanger in 1980.
