Summary
One of a pair of Bow porcelain figures. Seated male figure depicting Liberty. Wearing a blue tricorn hat, yellow and orange-lined jacket and orange flowered breeches, with a dove symbolising freedom sitting on his left thigh. Mounted on a gilded turquoise and pink deorated wave-scrolled base. Figure surrounded by a green-flowered bocage background. Circa 1760.
