Summary
One of a set of three Derby two-handled vases of classical form. The central panel is painted with colourful fruit in baskets on a royal blue ground. Gilt with arabesque foliage. Gilt satyr masks at the bases of the handles. On square bases. Traditionally painted by Thomas Steele. Marks; 58 in underglaze blue, Red crown cross pattern and D. c.1815.
