Summary
Longton Hall dish, the centre painted in colours with a 17th Century house by the 'Castle painter' (Anthony du Boulay, 11.12.92) (similar to Mompesson) in a landscape. The border with six vine leaves modelled with puce veins and with a border of lime green. No marks. c.1758. (Patricia Fergusson, 1004, Longton Hall, 'Castle Painter' dish).
