Left-hand panel of the stained glass window on the south wall of the Chapel Gallery at The Vyne, by John Rowell (1689-1756) c.1750.. Decorated with a rising sun and the inscription 'Let there be light' in a scroll.
Provenance
Probably purchased by John Chute (1701-1776) and by descent to Sir Charles Chute (1879-1956) and beqeathed with The Vyne House and Estate to the National Trust in 1956.
