Summary
An Italian casket with rising top and fall front, elaborately mounted with ormolu and overlaid with fruit and flowers in semi-precious stones, within lapis lazuli borders. Mounted on a gilt 18th century stand carved with satyres' masks at the corners and supported on scroll feet. Made by William Vile and Cobb.
