Oil painting on canvas, James Worsley Pennyman (1856-1924) by Clewin Simon Vernon Harcourt (Dunolly, Australia 1870-1965), signed and dated, bottom left in red: C.S.V. Harcourt 1904. (Colonel Pennyman's father), seated in an armchair, wearing a brown suit and a red tie, a dog's head resting on his lap. He was Colonel Pennyman’s father. He compiled ‘Records of the family of Pennyman of Ormesby’ a family history published privately in 1904.
