Summary
A vinyl record, the album Handsworth Revolution by Steel Pulse. The album contains eight songs with four on each side. There is a circular paper label in the centre of each side of the record, pale blue on Side One and a darker shade of blue on Side Two. These labels have the album title printed in the centre at the top, with a list of the song titles on each side printed immediately below. The records catalogue number (ILPS 9502) is printed to the right of centre on each label and there is an Island Records logo at the bottom. Steel Pulse are a reggae band from the Handsworth area of Birmingham, England. Formed in 1975, they continue to record and perform. Handsworth Revolution was the bands debut album. It was recorded in 1977, being produced by Karl Pitterson and was released on the Island Records label in July 1978.
