Summary
A gatefold style cardboard sleeve for a vinyl record, the album Rastaman Vibration by Bob Marley and The Wailers. The sleeve is brown with the front cover featuring a drawing of Marley in the centre with his and his bands name printed above and the album title below. The rear of the sleeve has a list of songs on the record printed at the top, with a list of the musicians appearing on the record underneath. Below this are various recording and engineering credits for the record and at the bottom of the rear of the sleeve there are three quotations from the bible: Genesis 49 verses 22 - 24, Revelation 19 verse 16 and Deuteronomy 33 verse 16. The records catalogue number (ILPS9383) is printed in the top right corner of the rear of the sleeve and is also on the spine along with the artists name and album title. Inside the sleeve the lyrics for the various songs on the album are printed in white text on a black background above a drawing of Bob Marley and The Wailers in performance.
Provenance

Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 31st August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
