Summary
A cardboard sleeve for the two vinyl records that comprise the double album Snivilisation by Orbital. The sleeve is grey with the albums title printed across the top of the front of the sleeve above a drawing by the English painter and visual artist John Greenwood of a figure arranged with rubber tubing that is listening to a portable Walkman device. The rear of the sleeve also has the album title printed across the top with a list of the song titles on the record printed below. The albums catalogue number (TRULP5) is printed in white in the centre at the very top of the rear of the sleeve.
Provenance
Cardboard sleeve with a cover drawing by John Greenwood for the two vinyl records that comprise the double album Snivilisation recorded by Orbital and released on the FFRR record label on 8th August 1994. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 10th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
