Summary
A vinyl record, one of two that comprise the double album Snivilisation by Orbital. This record contains the first six songs of the ten in total that are on the album, with three songs on each side. There is a circular, light grey paper label in the centre of each side. These labels have the side number and the song titles on that side printed in white at the top with songwriting and copyright details printed below. At the bottom of each label the records catalogue number (TRULP5) is printed. Orbital are an English electronic music duo comprising of the brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll from Otford in Kent. They formed in 1989, emerging as part of the acid house and rave scene that was prominent at that time, with the name of the band taken from the orbital M25 motorway around Greater London where many of the early acid house parties were held. Initially active until 2004, the band reformed in 2009 and continue to record and perform. Snivilisation was the third studio album by the band. It was self produced by Phil and Paul Hartnoll and was released on the FFRR record label.

Vinyl record recorded by Orbital in 1993 and 1994. Released on the FFRR record label on 8th August 1994. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 10th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
