Summary
A paper sleeve for a vinyl record, the album Cut by The Slits. One side of the sleeve features cartoon drawings by Brian Gaylor, a studio engineer at the Ridge Farm studio where the record was recorded, with the other featuring a cartoon of a woman singing, drawn by Viv Albertine a member of the band.
Provenance
Paper sleeve for a vinyl record, the album Cut recorded by The Slits and released by Island Records on 7th September 1979, with cartoons drawn by Brain Gaylor and Viv Albertine. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs circa March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
