Summary
A vinyl record, one of two that comprise the double album Treddin' On Thin Ice by Wiley. This record contains the last eight songs of the fifteen that are on the album in total and has four songs on both Side C and Side D. There is a circular paper label in the centre of each side of the record. The label on Side C features a black and white image of the rear of a person walking in front of lake surrounded by tree and plants and has a list of the song title for that side printed in black at the bottom right. The label on Side D is white and features a photograph of nine people standing and looking forwards, with a list of the song titles for that side printed in black at the bottom. Wiley (Richard Kylea Cowie Jr.) is a British MC, DJ and record producer from Bow in East London. He is considered a key figure and a pioneer in the development of the ‘Grime’ music scene in the UK. Treddin’ On Thin Ice was his debut album. It was produced by Wiley himself, along with TNT, Target, Danny Weed and Cage and was released on the XL Recordings label.
