Summary
A cardboard sleeve for a vinyl record, the album My Generation by The Who. The front cover of the sleeve has a colour photograph of the four members of the band standing next to some oil drums and looking upwards (left to right: John Entwistle, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and Keith Moon). ‘THE WHO’ is printed in the top left corner in red capital letters and ‘MY GENERATION’ is printed at the bottom right in blue capitals. The records catalogue number (LAT 8616) is printed at the top left and there is a Brunswick logo in the top right corner. The rear of the sleeve is white and has a small black and white photo of each band member (from top to bottom: Pete Townshend, Keith Moon, Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle) plus details of each members role in the band. At the top right of the rear of the sleeve there is a list of the song titles on each side of the record with songwriting credits printed in brackets next to each title. The records catalogue number is printed at the top right and there is a Brunswick logo at the bottom right. The album title, artists name, record company name and catalogue number are all printed on the spine of the sleeve.

Cardboard sleeve for the vinyl record My Generation recorded by The Who and released by Brunswick Records on 3rd December 1965. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 30th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
