A vinyl record, the self titled album by The Smiths. The record comes in a protective paper sleeve inside an outer cardboard sleeve.
Provenance
Vinyl record recorded by The Smiths between September and November 1983. Released by Rough Trade Records on 20th February 1984 with outer sleeve designed by Steven Morrissey and inner sleeve with photographs by Remi Mori, Andy Catlin and Joelle Depont. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 9th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
