Summary
A vinyl record, one of two that comprise the double album ‘The Slim Shady LP’ by Eminem. This record contains sides one and two of the album and has six songs on Side One and five on Side Two. The record has a circular paper label in the centre on each side. These labels have the artists name and album title in white letters at the top and a list of song titles on each side printed at the bottom. Below the list of songs the records catalogue number, INT2-90287 is printed, also in white. Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III) is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer. He is amongst the most successful rap/hip-hop artists of all time and is considered to have broken down racial barriers and gained acceptance for white rappers through his work. The Slim Shady LP was the second studio album recorded by Eminem. It was recorded at Studio 8 in Michigan, USA and was produced by Eminem, Dr, Dre (Andre Romell Young), The Bass Brothers (Mark and Jeff Bass) and Mel-Man (Melvin Charles Bradford). It was released on the Interscope record label.

Vinyl record recorded by Eminem in 1997 and 1998. Released by Interscope Records on 23rd February 1999. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 8th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
