Summary
A cardboard sleeve for a vinyl record, the twelve inch single version of ‘Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves’ by The Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin. The front cover of the sleeve features a black and white image of a woman typing at a desk, with the artists names printed above in large purple letters and the song title below in smaller black letters. The rear of the sleeve has a list of the three song titles contained on the record in red type with songwriting, production and engineering credits printed underneath each title in black. There is an RCA logo on the rear bottom edge and the catalogue number PT 40340 is at the rear top right hand corner.
Provenance
Cardboard sleeve for the vinyl record Sisters Are Doin’ It For Themselves by The Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin. Released by RCA Records in October 1985. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 9th September 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
