Summary
A gatefold style cardboard sleeve for two vinyl records, the self titled double album by The Futureheads. The sleeve has ‘THE FUTUREHEADS’ printed at the top of the front cover in black lettering with head and shoulder portraits of the four band members below, from left to right David Craig, David Hyde, Ross Millard and Barry Hyde, three of these in monochrome and one in pink. The rear of the sleeve has the song titles on each of the four sides of the album printed in black and inside there are further black and white images of the heads of the band members in front of a skyscraper buildings background. The band name/album title is printed on the spine of the sleeve.
Provenance
Cardboard sleeve for the self titled double album by The Futureheads released by 679 Records on 12th July 2004. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 12th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
