Summary
A shellac 78rpm record by Frankie Laine. The record contains two songs: ‘I Believe’ performed with The Paul Weston Orchestra and ‘Your Cheatin’ Heart’ performed with The Norman Luboff Choir and The Paul Weston Orchestra. The record has a blue circular paper label in the centre of each side. These labels have a Philips Record Company logo at the top with 'PHILIPS' printed below in silver lettering. The title of the song on each side is printed just below the centre of the label and the catalogue numbers B21009H, AA 21009 1H and P.B. 117 are printed at the sides on each label. Frankie Laine was an American singer and songwriter with a career that spanned 75 years and covered a variety of styles including gospel, jazz, folk and blues.

Shellac 78rpm record recorded by Frankie Laine on 8th January 1953 and released by Philips Electrical in 1953. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 6th August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
