Summary
A vinyl record, the album ‘Frequencies’ by LFO. The record contains twelve songs with six songs on each side. There is a circular paper label in the centre of each side. Both labels have a Warp Records logo at the top below which is printed 'LFO: Frequencies'. The catalogue number of the record, 'WARP LP3' is printed to the right of centre on each label and at the bottom there is a list of the song titles on each side of the record, with song writing and production credits below. LFO were a British electronic music duo consisting of Mark Bell and Gez Varley who were active between 1988 and 1996 and again between 2003 and 2014. Frequencies was their debut album. It was produced by the band member Martin Williams and released on the Warp Records label.
Provenance
Vinyl record recorded by LFO in 1990 and 1991. Released by Warp Records on 22nd July 1991. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 28th February 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
