Summary
A vinyl record, the self titled album by The Libertines. The record contains fourteen songs, with seven songs on each side. There is a circular paper label in the centre on each side with each label having the bands name printed at the top, a Rough Trade Records logo and the records catalogue number (RTRADLP166) printed to the left of centre and a list of the song titles on each side printed at the bottom. The Libertines are an English rock band formed in London in 1997 consisting of the four members Peter Doherty, Carl Barat, Gary Powell and John Hassall for the majority of their career. They split up in 2004 but from 2010 onwards have sporadically reunited to perform and record. This self titled album was the bands second. It was produced by Mick Jones (formerly of punk band The Clash) and was released on the Rough Trade Records label.

Vinyl record recorded by The Libertines in Spring 2004. Released by Rough Trade Records on 30th August 2004. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 7th August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
