Summary
A cardboard record sleeve for the vinyl record ‘Like A Prayer’ by Madonna. The front cover of the sleeve features the artists name and the records title printed on a colour image of Madonna’s bare midriff and her hands with rings on the fingers, tucked into the waistband of a pair of denim jeans. The image was taken by the American fashion photographer Herbert Ritts Jr. The rear of the sleeve is white with a black and white portrait photograph of Madonna with her hands held in a praying pose in the centre, with the songs on each side of the album printed in gold lettering above and below the image. At the bottom of the rear of the sleeve are printed some production credits while in the top left corner there are five different catalogue numbers. The artists name and album title are printed on the spine of the sleeve along with the catalogue numbers UK: WX239 and 925844-1.
