Summary
A plastic ‘Cabbage Patch Kid’ doll, Viola Maryruth, from the ‘Splash 'n' Tan Kids’ range manufactured by Hasbro. The doll is black and has dark hair which has a pink bow tied in it at the front. The doll is dressed in a green two piece swimming costume with a pink bow tied across the front. The dolls swimming costume bottoms have a badge on them with letters ‘CPK’ in white. At the time of cataloguing (November 2023) the doll has never been removed from its original cardboard box packaging.

Doll manufactured by Hasbro in 1991. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay circa 2023 as part of the Collecting Cultures Exploring Childhoods project.
