Summary
A plastic Becky I'm The School Photographer doll manufactured by Mattel. The female doll is sitting in a wheelchair facing forwards. She has long brown/ginger hair and is dressed in a red, green and yellow checked textile jacket worn over a white textile top, blue jeans and red boots/trainers. In the dolls left hand is a black plastic camera which is attached to a length of red ribbon around the dolls neck. In her right hand is a pair of red plastic sunglasses and tucked under her right arm is a school yearbook. At the time of cataloguing (September 2023) the doll does not appear to have ever been removed from its original cardboard box packaging.
Provenance
Doll manufactured by Mattel Inc in 1998. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay in August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
