Summary
The original cardboard box packaging for a Ken character doll, number 10 from the Fashionistas series manufactured by Mattel. The rear of the box is a thin rectangular piece of cardboard with the front being a full length piece of see through cellophane through which the doll can be seen. The front of the box has the word 'FASHIONISTAS' embossed down its left side with 'Ken' printed in white letters at the bottom next to a colour image of three male dolls from the series. The inside of the rear of the box has the word 'FASHIONISTAS' in large white letters on the left hand side on a black background decorated with white dots. In the top right corner of the rear is the dolls number (10) in white on a blue circular background. The reverse side of the rear of the box has a colour image of other dolls available in the Fashionistas series, each with their specific dolls number, together with printed details on the trademark and production etc. of the doll. At the time of cataloguing (September 2023) the box is still sealed and appears to have never been opened.
