Summary
A plastic ghost/monster figure, one of four that are part of a set of ten ‘Ghostbusters’ themed toy models. The figure is brown and has a long curled tail. Its mouth is open and it is baring its teeth. It is stamped on the rear with the date ‘1984’ and ‘Columbia Pictures’. Ghostbusters was a supernatural comedy film about a team of ghost catchers, released by Columbia Pictures in 1984. It stared Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Sigourney Weaver.
Provenance
Manufactured and distributed by Columbia Pictures circa 1984. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood in August 2020 via ebay as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
