Summary
The original cardboard box packaging for a GI Adventurer doll manufactured by Hasbro. The rectangular shaped box has ‘Hasbro’ printed at the top left of its lid in yellow letters and ‘GI Joe Adventurer’ in the centre in white and black letters. Below this is an image of the doll driving a vehicle. On one end of the lid there are details of the key features of the doll e.g. ‘complete with uniform, boots, dog tag, pistol and holster’ and its catalogue/model number (7404). On the other end are printed copyright and trademark details. On the sides of the lid there are colour images of other adventurer dolls that are available to purchase, plus the catalogue/model numbers of these dolls.

Original cardboard box packaging for doll manufactured by Hasbro in 1970. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood in August 2020 via ebay as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
