Summary
The original plastic container for the DVD 'The Rug Rats Movie' released by Paramount pictures and Nickelodean Movies in 1998. The orange container is rectangular in shape and has a paper sleeve that wraps around it. The sleeve has colour images of the Rug Rats characters on the front and text describing the film and three further images of the characters on the rear. The ‘U’ classification for the film is printed on the sleeve in the rear bottom right corner and also on the rear are details of the films running time, production credits and copyright details.
Provenance
Original container manufactured for DVD issued by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodean Movies in 1998. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay in August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
