Summary
A cardboard sleeve for a vinyl record, the album ‘Whatever People Say I Am That’s What I’m Not’ by Arctic Monkeys. Designed by the Juno Studio in Liverpool, both the front and rear of the sleeve feature a monochrome photograph of Chris McClure, a friend of the band, taken by the photographer Alexandra Wolkowicz in the Korova Bar in Liverpool. The picture on the front of the sleeve is a head and shoulder portrait of McClure smoking while the rear photograph shows him leaning forward and scratching his left eye. There is no text or markings on the front cover while the rear of the sleeve has a list of the records song titles printed in white letters in the top left corner and a postal and website address for Domino Records, a website address for Arctic Monkeys and the records catalogue number (WIGLP162) also printed in white letters in the bottom left corner.

Designed by Juno Studio, Liverpool with photographs taken by Alexandra Wolkowicz. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 13th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
